Farmhouse. C17, refaced mid-C19, C20 alterations. Timber-framed with
painted brick infill, brick refacing, sandstone plinth, part weatherboard
cladding to south gable, tiled roof. L-plan with main block aligned east/
west and north/south cross-wing at west end, facing south, lean-to and C20
extension to rear, large central stack giving baffle-entry to south front.
Two storeys and cellar; south front, gable of cross-wing to left with 3-
light casement window, three windows with segmental brick heads to main
block, 2- and 3-light casement windows, 4-light and two 2-light windows to
ground floor to right of projecting gabled porch with half-glazed door;
cellar entry in lower west side of cross-wing. Framing fairly complete
and revealed to rear and to east gable; four square panels from sill to tie-
beam with angle braces to tie-beam; weatherings in gable. Four conjoined
star-plan brick shafts to central stack.
