GV II
House. C17, altered C20. Timber-framed painted brick infill and refacing
with later additions, tiled roof. Three framed bays aligned north/south
with north gable end to street, later lean-to addition to east. Single
storey and attic, 2-light casement window in gable, canted bay window
to ground floor with continuous pentice, sash window in lean-to to left,
doorway with ledged door and overlight in covered passageway to right of
house adjoining the Bell Inn (qv) to right. Square panelled framing,
fairly complete though refaced with brick.
