Church: 1843, by Thomas Bellamy: Rubble with sandstone dressings and
slate roof. Comprises a nave with west porch, lower chancel, and south
vestry and organ chamber: The west porch is gabled and has a moulded
pointed doorway with angle shafts. Above is a window of three pointed
lights under a pointed head. The nave has lancet windows separated by
buttresses. On the north side it is of five bays, on the south side of
four: The vestry has a pointed doorway in its west wall and two lancet
windows in its south gable wall, which has a chimney. Adjoining to the
east is a lower gabled organ chamber. On the north side the chancel is
of one bay. In the east wall are three stepped lancets. Interior: open
timber roof has arch-braced collar trusses rising from corbels. The
Plastered chancel arch is tall and pointed. In the chancel are double
sedilia and a piscina. The windows contain some late C19 glass.
