Farmhouse. Circa C16. Stone rubble and cob. Tiled roof with gabled ends and
heightened eaves. Two storeys. Long widely spaced three window range. C19 three,
four and six light casements with glazing bars. Plank door centre left and stone
rubble single storey lean-to on front to right. Two brick ridge stacks.
Interior timber plank screen to cross passage. Heavy stop chamfered ceiling beams
and fireplace with stopped and chamfered bressummer. Doorway in attic with ogee
cambered head. Jointed cruck trusses.
The house originally extended one bay to left (south west) into hillside where there
is a dilapidated rubble fireplace in the bank with badly damaged moulded stone
chimneypiece.
