II

Former farmhouse. Circa early C16. Stone rubble. Asbestos slate roof with gabled
ends. Two storeys. Long six window range. Modern three and four light casements.
Wide boarded door off centre in heavy wooden doorframe. Rebuilt brick ridge and end
stacks.
Interior: Six bays with jointed arch trusses. Cross passage, the screen has been
ceiled over with later panelling and plaster. Inserted moulded timber ceiling.
Fireplace at end with chamfered bressummer. Another fireplace with moulded and
crenellated bressummer.
