Lea Hill Farm Hotel

Formerly a farmhouse, now used as an hotel. Circa C16 or earlier stone rubble and
thatched roof with gabled ends. Two storeys. Casement windows and one flat roof
dormer. Brick chimney stacks at ridge. Right hand (south-east) wing with external
stone chimney stack on gable end with set offs.
Interior: Cross passage with plank and muntin screen with pointed arched doorway.
Another timber framed partition wall with blocked round arched doorway. Possibly
inserted floor to former hall with stopped chamfer ceiling beam and possibly
inserted chimney with fireplace with chamfered timber bressummer. Wing is said to
contain jointed cruck truss.
