SS 90 SE BROADCLYST

Cottage. C17 and C18. Cob, stone plinth, rendered under hipped thatched roof, with
continuous outshut to rear under catslide roof. One rear lateral stack and one
axial stack, both with brick rustic timber shafts. 2 storeys.
Front: 3-window range and slightly asymmetrical; porch under tiled roof with split
timber sides, with one 2 and one 3-light casement windows; 2-light windows above
under boarded eyebrow eaves; all C19, timber, 6 panes per light.
Interior: lobby entrance; left hand room with axial chamfered beam with run-out
stops; right hand room with shallow chamfered beam. Roof looks early but clean,
principals morticed and side-pegged.
