Tomb chest. To Edward Cotsford Esq., d,1810. Portland stone. An unusually tall
chest with depressed panels under pointed arches, 2 to each side, one to either
end. Memorial inscription contained in the west panel, with Cotsford's coat of
arms. Moulded base and slab; low moulded surrounding kerb, the railings gone.
Cotsford was High Sheriff of Devon in 1792, and built Winslade Park (q.v.) which
stands close to the church.
