House. Mid C15 small house. Timber framed and plastered, with red plain tile
roof. 2 storeys, gabled and jettied to front, with flanking wing and staircase
tower. 1 window range, modern casements. Large late C16 stepped red brick
chimney stack. Original frame virtually complete. Some frame exposed
internally, including jowled storey posts and cambered tie beams. (RCHM.5)
