Farmhouse, now cottage in part of Farmhouse. C16 or earlier. Rendered stone rubble or cob. Corrugated iron roof originally thatched adjoining Balls Cottages gable end left and Virginia Cottage right. Large tapered axial stack in two stages. Three-room plan. Irregular four-window front; C20 windows and doors. Doorways to left and right of hearth position. Walling partly rebuilt C20. Two-light arch headed granite window is blocked in between ground floor left window and second window.
Most internal structural features obscured but some of the old roof structure said to survive; possibly jointed crucks. Muntin and Plank oak screen removed C20. Said to be shellet lined flue.
