Almshouses dated 1657. Timber framed buildings of 1 storey cased in red brick.
Tiled roof with 4 large brick stacks. Modillion eaves cornice, I restored
casement to each with shutters. Shaped Dutch gables at the ends. The rear
elevation has a roof in hips. No 38 has a massive red brick chimney breast.
Nos 37 to 44 (consec) form a group.
