Number 5, to the right (north), is double-fronted with a central door set in a pilastered surround with a small hood set on corbels, this previously described as being modern. Its symmetrically-set flanking windows are large, with modern multi-paned joinery, those to the ground floor having flat arches of stone voussoirs. The cottage has two double-flued chimneys to its ridge forming end stacks.

Number 3, to the left (south), is single-fronted with its door to the right of the ground floor window, with a single window to the first floor set above the space between the two ground floor openings. The first-floor window has a Yorkshire sliding sash, the ground floor is a vertical sash. All of its openings have flat arches formed with rubble stone voussoirs.
