Oasthouse with attached cartshed/granary. Late C18 Oasthouse with mid C19 attached
cartshed with granary over. Oasthouse has 2 square kilns with clunch base and brick
above, the front weatherboarded over timber-frame. Kilns have pyramidal slate roofs,
storage has tile roofs. Cowls and fantails missing. Attached to west is 5 bay open
fronted cartshed with granary above. Rear and side walls of clunch with red brick
dressing. Front weatherboarded over timber-frame, ground floor supported by wooden
supports. 1st floor has 3 window openings (2 partially blocked) and 1st floor door. 1st
floor may have been used as a hop store.
