GV II

House. c1840. Red brick under a slate roof. 2 storeys;
3-window range. Central 6-panelled and fielded door, the upper
2 panels glazed in C20. Plain overlight. One 2/2 sash either
side under gauged skewback arches, that to the left with
horns. First floor has similar sashes immediately above and,
in the centre, a timber canted bay standing on cast-iron
columns. The bay has three C20 2/2 horned sashes. The columns
are fluted, have splayed bases and stylised waterleaf
capitals. Timber eaves cornice below a hipped roof. One stack
on wall plane to north and south. To the south is an arched
doorway leading to a side passage to rear. Rear elevation with
a full-height gabled projection. INTERIOR not inspected.
