Restaurant, formerly 2 houses and a shop. C18, with C19 front.
Timber-framed and rendered; slate roof with a wide plain eaves
soffit.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys; on a corner site. 3 window range to the
Whiting Street frontage and one window to Churchgate Street,
all sashes with a single vertical bar to lights in flush cased
frames. 2 doorways on Whiting Street have moulded architraves
and cornices; former door to No.74 blocked. A corner shop door
with a 4-light shop window on each frontage has a heavy
continuous fascia and cornice and plain pilasters.
INTERIOR: cellar below former No.75 with walls of flint, brick
and stone with old render has a timber ceiling. On ground
storey, plain small main beams; joists on edge exposed in the
2 northern bays.
