Attributed to John Nash. He built the nearby Luscombe Castle in 1800.
This was built as a Dower house to Luscombe Castle and was at one time
the home of John Rennie . Fine early C19 2 storey stuccoed house with
low pitched slate roof. Entrance front has 5 windows and Greek Doric
portico. 8 window garden front with slight projections at each end.
Interior has fine hall with 4. Ionic columns and double staircase with
mahogany handrail and niches. 6 panelled doors and marble fireplaces.
