Market cross. Medieval, C17 and C19. Sandstone ashlar.
Polygonal in plan. Flight of eight steps up to a C19 two-tiered
octagonal base with a chamfer at the top of each tier.
Surmounted by a C17 circular shaft with entasis and plain
capital, like a Doric column. Ball finial at the top.
