Pair of cottages, now one. Early C19 and probably by William
Martin, the estate architect to the Earl of Chesterfield. Red
brick with hipped plain tile roofs, gabled to rear, with ridge
and gable stacks. One and two storeys. South elevation of
2-1-2 bays. The centre bay is advanced and of two storeys. The
ground floor has a triangular headed 3-light casement window.
2-light casement above, under a flat arch. To the left, a
blocked doorway and two 2-light casement windows, all under
slightly arched wedge brick lintels. To the right a doorway
with plank door and two similar windows, all under slightly
arched wedge brick lintels.
