II
House. C16/C17, extended C18 & C19. Timber-frame encased in brick, parts
tile-hung, old plain tile roof. Front2 storey 5 window range with C20 bay
to right end. To right of centre of older part C19 timber and glass porch on
brick plinth. Inside C18 top-glazed door. To left C17 brickwork, with flint
plinth running to end of building. Each side 2 C18 12-pane sashes. 1st
floor tile-hung with 5 C19 cross-windows. Stack on ridge near left end and
at right and external C17 stack of T-section with added C20 flue on right.
C20 right bay has canted bay window, large cross-window on 1st floor and
hipped roof. Inside in room to right of door huge C17 stone fireplace with
timber mantle.
