Small house. C17 timber frame, much altered mid C18, with early C19 features and
C20 changes. Stucco front wall, rear tile-hanging (C20) above painted brickwork
(early C19) of Flemish Garden Wall bond. Tile roof, brick dentil eaves, the former
rear catslide has been given a lesser slope. Symmetrical south front elevation of
two storeys two windows. Casements. C18 panelled door in a plain frame, within a
C20 half-glazed porch. Above the door is a plaque inscribed B R S 1754. Inside,
there is a timber-framed cross wall, and a modest C18 staircase.
