House, now a bank. Late C18. Brick with tile roof. 2-storeys and attic, symmet-
rical front (south) of 2.1.2 windows. Walling of blue headers, with flush red
quoins and dressings : plinth, 1st floor band, rubbed flat arches, stone cills,
parapet with coping stone and moulded band, which is raised in the centre as a
pediment, enclosing an arched window, and with moulded caps at each side above
wide full-height pilasters. Victorian sashes in reveals. The doorcase has a
pediment, with a dentil cornice broken forward at each side, fluted frieze, with
thin pilasters below console brackets, architrave, panelled reveals, and 6-
panelled door. 2 flat-roofed dormers with sashes. Lead rainwater pipes at each
side of the centrepiece, with moulded hopper-heads. Varied rear extensions of
several periods (suggestive of earlier structure), including a section with a
parapet, brick dentilled band, and an upper Venetian window.
