House, formerly 2 cottages. C17, C18. South side with exposed framing,
with brick infill, above a stone base, the north side is roughly-coursed
malmstone with brick quoins and plinth band: other walls of malmstone.
Hipped thatched roof, with catslide at rear (including a section of tiling),
and brought to a low eaves above outshots at each side; shafted central
stack. Front (east) of 2 storeys, 6 above 5 windows. Casements of various
ages and sizes. Plain doorway with a thatched canopy. Once a public house,
there remain single-storeyed stone buildings at the north side, of the C19.
Small terra cotta panel in the upper wall at the south side, containing a
figure.
