C18/early C19. Painted brick. Tiled roof. 2 storeys and attic with 1 dormer.
4 windows. Large 3 light, bow window partly tile hung and with cornices at the
south end of lst floor, 3 light flush window below it with segmental arch and stucco
rusticated surround. Sashes with glazing bars. Doorway with door of 6 fielded
panels and later, bracketed cornice above. Said to be interesting C19 rear iron
trellised verandah.
All the listed builidings on High Street and Union Street, with the listed street
lamps form a group, together with Nos 1 and 2 and the Parish Church of St Peter
and St Paul, Church Place and with the Red Lion Hotel and No 10 East Street. (No
45, High Street is of local interest).
