with plain secondary door, 2 recessed sash windows, darn entrance with Tuscan
porch and 2 more recessed sash windows. 1st floor with recessed sash windows
except blank window over porch. James Burt, a noted cricketer who apparently
weighed 22 stones, lived here.
The 'Duke's Head' Public House together with The 'Hop Poles' Public House in
Mount Pleasant Road, Nos 89 and 91, Nos 93 and 95 High Street, including No 1
