Late C17 and C18, though the core of the building is probably C16. L-shaped in
plan. Facade to the road: Brick. On the left, 2 windows, one on each floor;
on the right, a gabled bay. NW (entrance) facade: 3 irregular gabled bays. Exposed
timber framing with colour-washed brick infill; old tile roof. Irregular casements
of various dates and plain doors. Rear facades: On the left, a higher, though
still 2 storey, part of colour-washed brick, tile hung on one return. Ground
floor with 2 modern casement windows. Moulded brick band at 1st floor level.
lst floor with a 2-light casement window and an original mullioned and transomed
casement. Elaborately moulded and bracketted eaves cornice. On the right, a
lower part with a simple door and segment-headed casements.
