SU 83 NW HEADLEY CHURT ROAD

8/22 Lower Hearn Farmhouse

House. Mainly late C18, and C20. Stone and stucco, with a tile roof. Of
timber-framed origin, reclad in the C18, extended and restored in the C20;
irregular front (south) of 2 storeys, 1.4.1 windows. Hipped roof to the end
cross-wings. Rendered walls. Casements, one splayed bay. Open timber framed
porch. The rear indicatesthe phases of construction, the central part having 2
tile-hung gables, and ironstone walls with brick dressings.
