House. C17, with C19 restoration and extension, and C20 extension. Rendered
walls and tiled roof. South front of 2 storeys, 3 windows. The roof has
different levels, the front ½-hipped at the west end, hipped and brought to a
low eaves at the east end, brick dentil eaves. Plain walls; at the rear there
is some exposed framing with infilling of ironstone and brick. Casements.
6-panelled (2-top glazed) door in a plain frame, within a C20 open porch.
Inside, there are the remains of a 3-bay timber-framed house, with inserted
massive chimney breast, indicating a late-medieval hall house (perhaps only the
centre unit) with late Tudor fireplace and 1st floor.
