5/5 Screen wall between Pelham
Place and the stable block

Screen wall, with carriageway arch. c1830. The wall, of stucco, has a plain
parapet, and is divided into 3 bays by buttresses. Each bay has a lancet open-
ing with a square hood-mould. Projecting at its north end is a gateway, formed
as a Tudor arch, with flanking walls, each having a slender lancet opening, and
with a castellated parapet, raised in the centre.
