C17, C18, C19. Two-storeyed house of 2 main periods, the older western half having an
exposed timber frame on its north face. Tile roofing. The frame is filled with
herring bone brickwork, the remaining walls being in red brickwork in English and
Flemish Garden Wall bonds, with cambered ground-floor openings, plinth to the oldest
part. Most windows are casements, but there are 2 early C19 sashes and a French
window. Plain doors. The house has outshots from each long side, with low-pitched
slate roofing.
