Late C17, C18, and early C20. A main block of 2 storeys and attic, with a large modern
addition on the west side. The east front of 3 windows is symmetrical; steep red tile
hipped roof, modillion cornice, cement-rendered walling with first-floor band and high
plinth. Sashes in reveals. Richly-ornamented classical (Edwardian) doorcase with a
segmental pediment, with dentils, brackets, panelled pilasters within a rusticated
outer frame. The north elevation is wider, of similar details with 3 dormers, 4 upper
and 3 lower windows, (the 2 outer being of 3-lights); further west is a lower
2-storeyed block in brickwork. The south side has been altered by the insertion of new
windows, a rusticated brick-framed doorway below an old recessed panel, and a massive
attached stack to the east side; the western extension has a single-storeyed
appearance, with 4 camber-headed dormers, and a pavilion at the west end.
