C17, C18. Timber-framed house with later brick cladding. Two storeys, 3 windows. Old
tile roof, hipped at east side, brought to low eaves at rear, brick-dentil eaves to
front. Massive tapered stack attached to the west end gable, in old bricks. Red brick
walling, Flemish bond to (south) front, English bond to side walls, cambered
ground-floor openings, stone cills, plinth. Bricks incised RM 1767. Sashes in
exposed frames, casements to sides and rear. Wide solid doorframe with modern moulded
canopy on open brackets, above old 6-panelled door (2 top panels glazed).
