C16, C18, early C19. A house of 2 periods, joined together; 2 storeys, 2.2 windows.
The older northern part has an exposed timber framed north gable, indicating a jettied
front (now faced in painted brickwork); to this has been attached a massive tapered
stack. Tile roof. Cambered ground-floor opening. Yorkshire sliding sashes; doorway
with hood on brackets. 'The southern part (of the last date) has a slate roof with
brick dentil eaves, painted brick walling, upper 16-light sashes and a rounded bay
window within a half-hexagon structure, with hipped slate roof and modillion eaves
soffit. Modern doorway, also rearward additions.
