Mid C19. A Tudor/Gothic cottage of amazing elaboration. 2 storeys, 2 windows.
Very steep roof of scalloped slates, gables and prominent chimney stack. Red
brick (Flemish bond) walling with yellow brick quoins, bands, and with blue
headers used to form diaper patterns. Double stepped plinth; diagonal
buttresses to porch. Large gabled porch with pointed arch to doorway; one
ground floor bay. At the rear a hexagonal outbuilding in the same style.
An unaltered fantasy.
