C18. Three-storeys and attic, 2 windows. Tall rectangular block with the front
(south) on the narrow side. Tile roof, half-hipped at the rear, brick dentil eaves. Red brick walling in Flemish bond, with a steep crow-stepped gable, rubbed cambered openings with flat extrados (on the front cement covered); on the long sides there are blue headers. Casements. The front part is residential, in association with a later outshot on the west side; the rear part still contains the wooden machinery and other equipment. On the north end is a deep water channel of brickwork, fed by underground channels, and probably roofed; this was the wheel house, and outer bearing remains.
