C16, and circa 1900. Formerly 4 almshouses: a 2-storeyed timber-framed structure,
refronted and extended c1900 to form one dwelling in a plain Jacobean style.
Symmetrical (south) front of 2 windows, 2-storeyed porch. Red tile roof, ½-
hipped at east end; gabled at west, hipped porch roof: shafted stack. Casements,
2-light on 1st floor, 3 below: each made up of leaded panels with painted arch
tops. Porch (an imitation of the old porch at Monteagle House in the adjoining
parish of Yateley) has an eaves moulding, a drip mould at 1st floor level, a
group of 3 small windows (with chamfered openings) above a 4 centred arched
(and chamfered) doorway, one small ground floor window on each side wall.
Inside, the frame is virtually complete, with indications of mullions and of
grooves for wattles. Rear extensions in matching style.
