4/7 Cross shaft base in the churchyard
of the Church of the Holy Trinity,
c28m east-south-east of the chancel

GV II

Cross shaft base and cross shaft. Medieval base with C19 cross
shaft. Limestone. Square plan. Flat-chamfered plinth to base
which also has a flat-chamfered capping; an inner step supports
the cross shaft base with a chamfer around the-bottom and concave
mouldings to the upper corners. Octagonal shaft with gabled scene gabled
of the crucifixion at the top. Brass plaque in memory of Joseph
Enis Vicar and Ann his wife, dated 1897.
