Detached house. Possibly mid C18. Coursed squared limestone, concrete tile
roof. Plain rectangular block, possibly of two builds; at back a single storey
flat-roofed extension, not of special interest. Interior considerably
modified. Two storeys; attic, part basement; 2+1 windows. At ground and first
floors 3-light chamfer-mullion casements with C20 casements, bays 1 and 2 under
a common stopped hood at each level and to right, beyond a straight joint,
single window with hoods; 3 gabled dormers. Late C20 pair glazed doors at
straight joint; a steel casement to basement. Back is 1+1 window. External
gable stacks left, gable stack right with bread oven excrescence. Roof has many
original timbers, 4-bay, 2-purlin; heavy principals, bolted collar. Main ties
strutted below like of vertical strut to first purlin, tie beam above floor
level. Pole partition.
