Pair of gate piers. 1748, by John Bryan. Piers, without gates are c.480 mm
square and 2.25 m high with two sunk moulded panels with raised vermiculated
centres to the outer faces, and moulded caps to square blockings, set at c.5 m
centres. There are no gates or supporting railings. Said to have been designed
by John Bryan, Carver, who worked on monuments in the churchyard.
