Small house on street corner. Dated 1785 on panel in gable which faces street,
but probably an earlier core, now much modified. Squared coursed rubble, rubble
returns, concrete tile roof. Two storeys and attic; to front a 2-light over
3-light recessed chamfer mullion casement, each with stopped hood; to the right
a C20 glazed door with gabled hood. On the right return a 2-light casement.
GAble stack at the rear. Very modest, but on a key street corner, and still has
historic fabric in main gable. Formerly known as Ivy Cottage.
