Pair of houses at lower end of row. Early C19. Squared and coursed limestone,
stone slate roof to half-hipped outer end, central brick stack. Two storeys
and attic, 1 + 2-windowed, lay lights in roof to no 16, C19 2-light casements
with horizontal glazing bars under segmental heads with voussoirs at first
floor, 3-light similar ground floor no 14 and two late C20 oriels to no 16,
late C20 glazed doors under rustic lattice porches with stone slate roofs,
left to no 14 and central to no 16. On return gable wall, right, C20
casements. End unit in continuous row of stepped dwellings.
