Summer house in the garden of Forthampton House (q.v.). C18.
Brick, stone slate roof, brick stack. Square plain. Central
part-glazed double doors with fielded panels at bottom and fanlight
with Gibbs surround over. Six-pane casements either side flanked
by pilasters, modillioned moulding above each casement. Pyramidal
roof with modillion cornice. Weathervane at apex.
Interior; inset panelling below dado. Small fireplace with
lugged surround moulding around lugs continued down to form scroll
terminals.
