Detached house. Late C17; C18 and early C19 alterations. Coursed
and random rubble limestone; artificial stone rebuilt and ashlar
chimneys; stone slate roof. Two-storey with attic and cellar;
parallel 2-storey rear range. North front: mixed fenestration,
original 3-window arrangement at centre with 2-light chamfered
mullioned casements under combined hoodmould; doorway below right
upper floor window has late C18 or early C19 timber classical
pedimented doorcase with fluted pilasters, 6-panel door. Two-
storey canted bay window added to right in ashlar with 12-pane
sashes. C19 alteration to left, paired 12-pane sashes to each
floor. Two gabled attic dormers with leaded casements. Three
ridge-mounted chimneys, 2 with moulded caps. West end: 2 oval
windows to attic with flat dripmoulds. Rear: various 2-light
mullioned casements. Similar windows to rear range, this more
greatly altered on north side at east end. Interior not inspected.
