Small barn and attached lower barn. Probably late C18 rebuild, incorporating
early work, lower barn reputed to be 1721. Main barn is good cut squared lime-
stone and stone slate steep pitched roof to coped gables; lower barn cut stone,
corrugated iron roof set over thatch. Deep gabled porch with later doors to
north of main beam; south side has two 4-centred openings, possibly re-used C16
work, that to the right blocked, and central flush opening to large doors.
Interior in 5 bays, collar and tie, 2 trenched purlins, deep slits; half height
wall and rough ceiling to part. Lower barn has various openings including doors
to the east and to north. Five bay, light collar and tie, 2 rough purlins, some
light wind bracing. Beams are set at right angles to the principal barn (qv).
