Three cottages in row. C17 or early C18, much modified. Squared and coursed
limestone, front roof slope slate left, concrete tile right; rear slope stone
slate and concrete tile. In 3 builds, and with one section below the
remainder. Left is 2-storey, 2 windows and right 2½ storeys, 2 windows.
Windows varied, but several 2 or 3-light stone mullioned casements, with stopped
hoods at ground floor; a glazed porch and C20 door to left half; to right a
blocked doorway, and extreme right a C18 plank door under deep lintel, and a
vertical oval oculus. One brick and one stone stack. Gable end to road has at
first floor two C20 casements, and at ground floor a 2-light recessed chamfer
stone mullioned casement with hood. Scattered windows to back, including one
2-light stone casement.
