Large house at end of row. Early C18. Limestone ashlar, concrete tile roof.
Two storeys and attic, seven windows. A fine symmetrical frontage with contin-
uous moulded string course at first floor, and a deep coved cornice above a
continuous bead mould; centre and gable stacks all with moulded cappings.
Central Ionic gabled portico, covering 4-panel part glazed door with good early
C19 decorative fanlight, flanked each side by 2 blank window recesses and a
triple sash; at first floor are seven 4-pane sashes, and 4 segmental-headed
2-light casement dormers to roof. A deep wing runs back, left, indoors a long
narrow round-headed stair window, and a cross-gabled unit with moulded strings
at ground and first floor. Interior not inspected.
