Small detached cottage. C17. Coursed and squared limestone, concrete slate
roof, rebuilt stack. Simple plan, formerly with left end as stable with cobbled
floor; two storeys and attic, 2 windows. Ground floor has 3-light casement and
late C20 glazed door to very deep stones lintel, all under stopped hood-moulds;
at first floor a 3-light and 2-light, simple iron insects. Right return has two
small stair lights, and C20 wings in conforming style. Left return has 3-light
to gable and 2-light at ground floor, both with hood-moulds, and blank middle
floor windows generally recessed chamfer. Large gable stack. Interior has open
bressumer fireplace with bread oven and a stone spiral stair to first floor
