Dwelling. Early C17 and late C18. Ashlar facade to parapet cornice and hipped stone
slate roof, cut squared stone return with coping swept to stone stack; rear 'wing'
coursed rubble to parapet, stone slate roof. Earlier dwelling in three storeys
connected to later in two storeys. Main facade to street, two storeys, 3-windowed,
sashes with glazing bars, in reveals, central 6-panel moulded door, decorated fanlight
slender Doric pillar portico flat entablature. Earlier wing, back, three storeys, one
windowed, sashes with glazing bars, and on rear small lights in flat flush surrounds.
Interior: newel stair in cylindrical well to older section, and long oval well stair
with stick balustrade and mahogany rail to later unit; window shutters.
