Formerly medieval hall house, now 2 houses. C15 (possibly
earlier); Cl9 and C20 alterations. Large dressed uncoursed
limestone; ashlar chimneys rebuilt in brick; plain tile roof.
Single-storey former hall with inserted attic; 2-storey cross wing
at north end. Flat-roofed single storey rear additions are not of
special interest. Front: parapet-gabled wing projects to left, 2-
window fenestration to ground floor, both C20 casements with brick
segmental arches. Single off-centre upper floor casement. Gable-
mounted brick chimney. Main range to right has pointed-arched
doorway in angle with wing sheltered by lean-to porch addition;
plank door. Doorway to right with bowed porch hood is flanked by
C20 casements with rendered lintels. Three gabled roof dormers,
larger to left. Two ridge-mounted chimneys to main range, one on
parapet gable at south end. Rear: parapet-gabled cross wing to
right has ground and upper floor casement fenestration. Gabled
roof dormer to main range with C20 casement. Interior of former
hall contains 3 cruck trusses.
