5/29 Blanchworth Farmhouse

Farmhouse. Early C18. Coursed rubble stone with roughcast right
return, Cotswold stone slate roof with moulded overhanging eaves
and paired eaves brackets on fascia, 2 ashlar end stacks with off-
set and moulded cornice. Main range with later rear extension
forming L-shape. 2 storeys and attic. 5 windows, leaded wood
mullion and transoms with wood lintels. 4 similar on ground floor
with central doorcase up 2 stone steps, with large flat wooden hood
on brackets, 6-panel door with top 4 fielded and lower 2 flush with
reeded edges, and 5-pane transom light. 2 hipped dormers set wide
apart with twin leaded casements. Most windows have original iron
opening gear.
