6/67 Nastend Farmhouse
II
Farmhouse. Late C18, probably on older core, with large C20
extension to east not of special interest. Brick on stone plinth,
tile roof, rebuilt brick end stack to east. Single range, 2
storeys and attic. North front has 3 windows, blind to left, 2-
light cambered head casements off-centre and right, two gabled
dormers with twin casements. Ground floor altered with C20
casement inserted in former doorway to left of off-centre window;
single light between casements; entrance now through plank door in
small single storey outhouse to west. Interior not inspected but
likely to be of interest. May be one of six houses recorded in
Nastend in 1594.
